From Avery:
I was inspired to create a T-shirt design for the Earth Day competition because I wanted to raise awareness about how pollution is harming our planet, especially our oceans. So many marine animals are affected by plastic waste, oil spills, etc., and their habitats are becoming harder to survive in. Actively together we can contribute small actions that will assist in further helping our planet. My goal was to use art to inspire others to care for the environment and to show that protecting our oceans is an important part of protecting Earth itself.
